Cayman Academy celebrates Earth Day
Students and staff of Cayman Academy visited the Mission House today along with other schools across the island. The visit to the Mission House was in keeping with the Earth Day Activities. The students had fun touring the facilities, listening to stories, eating snow cones and learning about their environment. The Mission House is a National Trust historic site and visitor’s information centre and erected on this property is a ancient two story home with utencils of the past and was used during the 1700′s by the early settlers. There is a pond on the propery that attracts a variety of birds, hickatees and waterfowls. The Mission House is located at #63 Gun Square in Bodden Town Grand Cayman
Worship Experience with Cayman Academy
The students and staff of Cayman Academy had the privilege of sharing in the Sabbath School and Divine Hour worship last Sabbath at the Bodden Town, North Side and East End congregations. The worship experience was uplifting, awesome, and powerful as exclaimed by members who literally packed these churches. The children along with their teachers lead out in praise and worship, lesson study, choir ministry and children story. For the Divine hour the sermons were presented by three of our dynamic and illustrious students. Through this ministry, parents have committed themselves to send their students to Cayman Academy for the new school year. Let us continue to pray for the faculty, staff and students of our school which is also God’s school.
